I was introduced to Mr Warren by another specialist and this proved to be an excellent referral. He took time to understand the background to my condition and walked me through the various options open to me, but concluding with a clear recommendation and explanation for that choice. On the day of the procedure Mr Warren and the whole support team were professional, reassuring and friendly. The follow up was also helpful and, most importantly of all, the operation was a complete success with the condition clearing completely.

I couldn’t not be happy with treatment I received from Oliver Warren. It was my first time having surgery and I was a little worried about the whole ordeal. Oliver explained what was going to happen very competently, putting my mind at ease. Nearly three weeks after my surgery I feel better than ever. With Oliver telling me he’s only a call away if need be. Couldn’t recommend Oliver higher and very please I used him.

Oliver is a Consultant Colorectal, Intestinal and Hernia Surgeon at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, The London Clinic and The Lister Hospital. He has a high-volume practice in coloproctology and is a JAG accredited colonoscopist. He has an interest in hernias, including complex abdominal wall reconstruction. He performs over 50 colorectal resections per year, the vast majority using 'keyhole' surgery.
Prior to becoming a consultant surgeon he undertook colorectal surgery fellowships at St. Mark's Hospital, London and the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney. He was a visiting fellow at the Cleveland Clinic, USA.
Oliver is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College London and has written numerous scientific papers and book chapters on medical leadership, patient safety and surgical education. He is the co-author of the book 'Going into Hospital: A guide for patients, families and carers'.
